Long story short, I have disabled it until I have determined the problem. As always you can use the ingame browser to access the corporation policy editor.

API Keys

I‘m having some problems with API keys at the moment, I‘m trying to figure out the problem. If you end up with problems, you can still use the ingame browser!

Promotional Videos

Have a decent promotional video for your corporation? Become a sponsor, post your video on youtube and stick it into your corporation settings! You can use EvE API Keys to change corporation details on the main website. There have also been various bug fixes made. You are not REQUIRED to enter your Api key to use Eve-Careers. It is entirely optional. All components of the ingame browser website are intact and still available!

Roles News

It seems I was wrong! I re-read some dev posts and it seems that infact the corporation member tracking xml has the pilot roles in it. Unfortunately that requires the full access key, which has WAY too much access for my liking. For this reason I will not remove the ingame corporation management system, but instead allow users to choose whether they wish to edit it out of game (with API Keys), or ingame.

Sponsorship Trials

I have changed the sponsorship program to better allow people to participate. I have set the cost to 10 million isk per week. Please contact me with the link on the right, send me an eve mail ingame or drop me a PM on the forums! I will be making a website update soon to include API Keys, of course this will only require limited access keys and will not have access to anything incredibly confidential such as your assets or corporate settings. The information that will be accessed at this point is only basic authentication data.

Update

Time for an eve-careers update. Nearing 1000 capsuleers signed up! I have noticed that a lot of people are not switching off their looking for a corporation setting after they have found their new home. I will therefore be implementing a system to automatically turn it off after a certain amount of time of not visiting the site. Most likely between a week and a fortnight. About Eve Keys. I have most of the system working, however it seems that not even full keys at the moment have the access to pilots roles in corporations. We shall see anyway. More news to come soon!

Progress

Currently, I‘m working on various things. I‘m implementing API Keys to completely remove the need to use the ingame browser. I‘m also fixing various issues such as the filters on other pages of results. Once that has been introduced I will be implementing timezone filtering! Pilots signed up 675, Corporations: 327. Good luck with your future careers!

Wow!

We have beat 500 capsuleers signed up to eve careers. This really is a milestone! I‘d like to thank everyone who has signed up, and I wish you all good luck in your searching for new homes! As for new features, I will be looking into the EvE API system to suppliment the features already existing. However, this may take a little while because I‘m in the process of moving houses!
